How to Reconnect a Channel?

Your Channels can sometimes get disconnected, follow the steps below to reconnect a channel.

Step 1. Access Manage Channels

  • On the Messcat dashboard, hover over the menu on the left-hand side. Find the “Inbox” section and the click “Manage Channels”

Step 2. Identify Disconnected Channel

  • Within the Manage Channels section, locate the specific channel that appears as disconnected.

Step 3. Initiate Reconnection

  • Click the Scan QR button associated with the disconnected channel.

Step 4. Choose Reconnection Method

  • You'll be presented with two options to reconnect the channel:

    • Scan QR from WhatsApp: Open the WhatsApp app on your phone and scan the QR code displayed on your Messcat screen.

    • Link with Phone Number: Enter the phone number associated with the WhatsApp account you want to reconnect and enter the code provided on your WhatsApp Account.
