How to enable Push Notifications on Mobile?¶

Intro¶

This guide will walk you through setting up notifications on both iOS and Android devices.

Before You Begin¶

• Make sure you have the Messcat Mobile App installed on your device.
• Refer to How to Install the WebPhone App?

Steps¶

1. Accessing Notification Settings¶

• Open the Messcat app on your phone.
• Go to the "Settings" section.
• Look for and select "Notifications."

2. Managing Notifications¶

• In the Notifications section, you'll see a list of different features within the app that can send you notifications.

• For each feature, you can use the provided toggle or settings to:

  

  • Turn notifications on or off.
  • Customize how you receive them.
  • Messcat lets you choose how you want to receive notifications, with options like Email or Push notifications.
  • Turn on notifications to get the most out of your Messcat experience!

Important Notes About Notifications¶

1. iPhone Users (as of April 16, 2024): Notifications on iPhones only work if the Messcat app is added to your home screen.
2. Home Screen App Users: If you have Messcat on your home screen, it's recommended to delete the current version and re-add it. This will ensure you have the latest updates and features.
3. iOS Compatibility: Notifications are supported on devices running iOS 15 and later. If you're having trouble receiving notifications and your device meets this requirement, please contact our customer support for help.
